  • 1 cup Almonds

  • 1/2 cup roasted Almond butter

  • 1 Tbsp Maple syrup 

  • 1 tsp Orange zest or you can add simply organic orange flavour (which contains orange oil in a sunflower oil base)

  • 1/4 cup carob powder

  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil

  • Extra carob powder for rolling the balls in. 



Place the Almonds in a food processor and blend or pulse briefly till you get semi-chunky to course sand consistency. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend or pulse till well combined. Roll into balls and coat with the spare carob powder. Refrigerate so they hold more solid and don't crumble as easily. These Jaffa nut balls can also be frozen and then defrosted as needed. Enjoy as a snack, dessert or with a warm cup of tea or dandelion coffee.
