A simple wholesome recipe with a bunch of green vegetables to have as side or added to soups or even as a main with some added fish or tofu perhaps!
1 bunch of silver beet - chopped
5 shallots - chopped finely
half a lemon
a small amount of water to add to braise the greens and avoid them burning
your favourite spice mix
Heat up a skillet (frying pan) with some olive oil and toss the shallots together with the spices. Then add the silver beet and fry this together until tender. Just as it has finished cooking, add the juice of half a lemon and serve up sprinted with the roasted pepitas. Shhh...thanks shallot!
